Colorful Gram flour (besan) Pancake Wrap:

 Ingredients for the pancake:

  • 1 teaspoonful of oil (refines/olive or mustard)
  • Gram flour (besan) – 1 bowlIMG_20170307_094659241
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania) chopped. 
  • 1 bowl of water
  • salt per taste

 

 Ingredients for filling:

  • Spring onions finely chopped or red onions finely chopped
  • 1 bowl full Red and yellow bell peppers finely chopped
  • IMG_20170307_094635079Cottage cheese/ Paneer (150 grams)
  • capsicum finely chopped
  • coriander seeds
  • red pepper 1 or 2 as per taste
  • coriander powder
  • salt per taste

Method:

To make pancake batter:

  • Put 1 bowl gram powder (besan). Add a little water to it to its thin and have a watery Add a pinch of salt and finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well.IMG_20170307_094659241
  • Now take some oil in a pan and heat it.

  • After its heated well now slowly put the batter onto the pan. IMG_20170307_095823918
  • Let it cook well.
  • Now toss the side of the pancake to cook it from another side as well.  IMG_20170307_095907427
  • Remove the pancake onto the plate.

To make filling:

  • Put a spoonful of oil in a pan and heat it.
  • Put 1 teaspoonful of coriander seeds and red pepper together and let them crackle.

  • Then put the chopped onions/spring onions and saute it till golden brown

  • Add red, yellow bell peppers and capsicum and saute till soft.

  • Now add cottage cheese and put coriander powder and salt per your taste.

  • Saute the veggies till they mix well.

The final step is to take a spoonful of veggies and put them on the pancake and roll the pancake to make it into a wrap.
